Rho Gammas (Recruitment Counselors) are members of our Quinnipiac Panhellenic Community and are made up of students from various chapters. These women have undergone extensive training about the recruitment process and are there to assist Potential New Members (PNMs) with their recruitment process. Each PNM will be assigned a Rho Gamma that will help them specifically with the recruitment process. Rho Gammas will keep anything you say in confidence and are to be used as a resource during the recruitment process. Please utilize these women to confide in, ask questions, and use as a sounding board. You will meet your Rho Gamma during recruitment orientation on Friday, September 4th, 2020.
MutualSelectionProcess
Recruitment is a mutual selection process that balances the preferences of each Potential New Member (PNM) with those of the sorority chapters. Invitations are only guaranteed to PNMs for the first round; this means that every PNM meets every sorority during the first round. Invitations to subsequent rounds are based on the selections of the chapters and the preferences of the PNMs. Each PNM will select their preferred chapters to return to at the end of each round. The Rho Gammas will assist all PNMs in making selections, if needed. There are no guarantees that a PNM will be placed within a specific sorority even if it is her first choice. It is important to keep an open mind during recruitment week and to use the time to meet new friends!
